In Sync SA

At In Sync SA we provide support coordination services to clients receiving funding under the National Disability Insurance Scheme.

We provide support to people living with a disability, and their families, regarding available services and utilisation and monitoring of their allocated NDIS funding to access these services, where necessary.

We do this by identifying the needs, both short and long term, of people living with a disability, and supporting them to connect with informal, mainstream and funded support, to reduce risk and increase their daily quality of life.

How we help

Support Cordinator Services

The role of the Support Coordinator can see some variation across different providers and different Support Coordinators. Essentially our role entails working alongside our clients to help them better understand their NDIS plans, budget and monitor their available funding and link them with services for therapy, equipment needs, education and work opportunities or skill building. We also support our clients in the lead up to and at plan review time, getting in touch with the NDIS when necessary and support them to manage and plan for significant changes to their daily life.

Our People

At In Sync SA we have a wonderful variety of Support Coordinators who provide support to our clients. We have a culture for sharing information and are always looking for opportunities to learn more in order for us to support better!

Our Support Coordinators have backgrounds in Community and Employment Services, Nursing and as Local Area Coordinators. All staff have a minimum Diploma tertiary qualification, with some of our team having also studied to Bachelors and Master Level. But to top that all off, they are kind people with a good many years of life and sector experience behind them who strive to support people to their very best ability, each and every day.

How do I access my plan details?

You can see up to date information about your NDIS funding, update details and download an electronic copy of your plan through My Gov by linking your NDIS plan to your MyGov account.

You will need to contact the NDIS on 1800 800 110 for an activation code and this will then allow you to link the NDIS tile to your MyGov account.

My Support Coordinator at In Sync SA has helped us over a very long period of time, to act as our interpreter for NDIS language and to navigate the complex home modifications and equipment processes. After several years of hard work and patience, I am pleased to say that our new bathroom has now been completed, meaning I can shower safely, and I can now access all of the main rooms inside my home. I can also now come and go through my front door in my wheelchair and access the outside world independently for the first time in almost 4 years. We haven’t actually met the office manager in person, but we feel like we have. My Support Coordinator from In Sync SA has been able to point me in the right direction when I have needed help/therapists. She advised me on extra items and support that I was able to access during the peak of Covid. When I have just had any NDIS appointment and I still have questions, I can text or ring my Support Coordinator and she can help problem solve my questions with me. My Support Coordinator was able to solve issues when my wheelchair was not working or I needed a new wheelchair.
